IJL is celebrating over 18 years in the dating business, with thousands of professional singles. We've created a service where everyone feels comfortable with the process of meeting a new person. The company was born in 1991 in Chicago and now has locations from New York to Singapore….and many in between.

It's Just Lunch was founded by a woman whose engagement was called off. Finding herself suddenly single, she began the tedious search to meet "normal", well-educated professionals. Her friends sent her out on blind dates, she tried personal ads, contemplated the internet and dating services, but she wasn't comfortable with any of these options. The ideal date, she decided, was a lunch date or a drink after work. A fun, laid back, stress-free way to meet!

It's Just Lunch! Albany has been introducing busy professionals in the Capital District for several years. Our staff is a dedicated group of first date specialists that love coordinating quality first dates over lunch, brunch or a quick drink after work for our clients. Their biggest reward is when they make a great match!

Our clients are wonderful people and we have had a fantastic time matching them. They are successful professionals that are active, have a wide variety of interests and best of all have a positive attitude towards dating. Many of our clients enjoy a round of golf at the Saratoga National Golf Course and hiking through Thatcher State Park. Albany singles also appreciate everything from music and the arts to wine tasting and sports. Broadway Joe’s Theater Grill, where you can watch a movie while you enjoy dinner and a cocktail, the Saratoga Racetrack, or renting a boat at the Snub Harbor Marina in Lake George, or just going for a stroll in Empire State Plaza or Washington Park are all great date ideas in the Albany area.
